My grandmother’s garden in Pebble Beach, California had big and beautiful Aeonium potted outside year round, an impossibility in Seattle. After years of zonal denial failure, this beauty spent the winter in a friend’s rustic greenhouse and emerged happy. It’s 2’ high already and has many spawn, pieces the dog knocks off that are then dipped in rooting hormone and potted for sharing.
